DeLozier Building

Henry County Bank was the first bank in the county. The county was founded in 1834 and named for Patrick Henry, whose famous words “Give me liberty, or give me death!” fed the flames of the American Revolution. The bank building, constructed in 1887, also housed the first Clinton Post Office.. The structure was crafted from sandstone and brick with detailed stonework and ornate stained glass transoms. A benefactor gifted the building to the Henry County Historical Society, which rents the facility for private and public events. A courtyard separates the DeLozier Building from the Anheuser-Busch Distribution Center to its west.
